Gorgeous
Old Enamel Flower Garden Brooch in Pastels!
Unmarked
old 2 1/4" wide brooch features painted flowers & leaves
(pastels coloring) and bezel set pastel European rhinestones
(look Czech).
Open
filigree style look...metal is quite darkened with age. I have
not attempted to polish but happen to love the antique look to
the piece!
Very
good vintage condition with obvious darkening of stones, paint
& metal. Lovingly aged and not abused, this is a beautiful
piece of history!
Safety
clasp (small in size).
No
markings that I can see.

Extra Special 1930's
Courting Couple Brooch Perfect for your favorite brazer
- Unsigned (although
there is a plaque where a signature might have been placed) very
heavyweight aged silvery brooch features detailed stippling &
multi-colored what appear to be Czech stones.
- Center portrait is
of a courting couple on white raised cabachon. Transfer is somewhat
blurry with age, but very romantic & dramatic at the same
time! Stones are handset & centerpiece is pronged.
- Brooch measures just
over 2" wide & 2" tall. Safety clasp is working
properly.
- Appropriate wear
for age, with considerable patina & mellowing of stones.
Overall impression is beautiful!

Beautiful Floral
Brooch with Jewel Tone Rhinestones
Measures
just short of 2".
Looks
Czechoslovakian but has no markings.
Older
floral design brooch has a C clasp closure.
Jewel
toned color rhinestones are bezel set.
Considerable
aging to metal which was probably gold washed at one time. Now
appears brass-like.
Very
pretty openwork (dimension is very nice...see enlargement)...still
a lovely piece if you LIKE older aged jewelry.
Lovingly
worn throughout.

Elegant & Romantic
Fur Clip
- Patent #1852188 on
the back of the clip indicates a 1930's patent, although the
piece shouts DECO without that documentation.
- Cabs on either side
of the top are green glass or some sort of stone & the rhinestones
are largely clear & a wonderful design using baguettes &
round brilliants has been employed. Stones are handset &
amazingly sparely. I do not see any missing but due to the numbers
& beaded design of the metal work I can't promise I didn't
miss anything.
- Overall impression
is terrific.
- Fur clip measures
a whopping 3" long. Clip itself (on the back) is working
properly with some scratching to the surface.
- Very elegant piece
of history wearable still!

Baby grab
your dance shoes....RUMBA PAIR chatelaine style brooch set!
My
"lady" measures nearly 2 1/4" tall while her "gentleman"
dance partner is just under 2" bowing in her direction.
Each
side has safety clasp working properly & they are attached
at the hands with a chatelaine style chain. Her pin stem is out
of shape a little& could be straightened.
All
pieces definitely show wear, but what CHARM as well. Metal is
substantially heavy & there is wear to the plating particularly
at the high points. Detailed "beading" along his pataloon
legs & ruffled cuffs, & her skirt is a work of art!
Very
collectible, the piece may or may not be signed. I swear I see
initials on the backs of both figures, but my husband thinks
they may just be marks from the molding process.
I
have not polished or cleaned this piece. From a New Orleans antique
dealer, which is very appropriate considering the subject matter!
