Wonderful Old Agate?
Prospector Brooch
I
cannot find a signature on this wonderful old brooch, but I believe
it to be old silver with a semi-precious stone, perhaps highly
polished banded agate.
Surely
a reminder of "prospecting" days in the old West.
Brooch
measures 1 7/8" tall.
"Hammer"
has a very sharp point surely usable in a miniature goldmine
(smile).
Old
rabbit-ear style safety clasp.
Very
nice condition....a real treasure!

My VERY favorite
charm brooch....with a secret locket!
Beautiful
old twisted bar brooch with 5 charms, one of which is a old engraved
locket with a tiny hinged latch.
Unsigned
with nice old patina....my best guess is this is all silver,
however only the locket is marked Sterling (inside).
Brooch
measures 3" across.
Dangles
1 1/2" from pinstem to bottom of locket (largest charm measures
just under 1".
Considerable
patina. I have not cleaned.

old tribal face/mask brooch in what surely must be sterling (no
marks that I can find).

is dimensional & measures 2 1/4" by 2 1/2".
Silver
is in a nice raised scroll motif.
Substantially
weighty, this wonderful old piece surely must be Mexican in origin
& could be from the 1930's.
Nice
old patina coudl be polished but is lovely this way!
No
blemishes that I can see to the "carved" face. Possibly
obsidian or onyx.
Safety
clasp is working properly. Pinback is slightly bent but working
properly.

935 Sterling & Inlay Brooch/Pendant ~ Water Jug!
Beautiful
signed 935 (a little higher silver content than sterling) brooch
features an inlay pattern in mother of pearl. The artist has
created a little work of art carefully placing the different
shades of shell...soft blues, greys, pinks & pearl.
This
1 1/2" tall piece can be worn as a pendant or brooch. Obviously
very well made & in nice condition.
